Both it and the “Deep Royal Blue” colorway are set to release next year as part of Jordan Brand’s “Rare Air” collection.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air series is set to grow in 2025 with the release of two new colorways: “Cinnabar” and “Deep Royal Blue.” The “Cinnabar” version, a women’s-exclusive, showcases a unique mix of off-white, gray, and red on the upper, offering a fresh take on the iconic silhouette. This design also includes standout features like special “Nike Air” branding located at the medial collar and the signature “Rare Air” sockliner, adding a distinctive touch to the sneaker. Additionally, the black “Nike Air” Wings logo is placed on the medial collar, giving the shoe a refined, classic appeal. The combination of these elements creates a visually striking design that maintains the Air Jordan 1’s legacy while adding new flair.
The “Deep Royal Blue” colorway, on the other hand, carries a more vibrant color palette, mixing white, blue, gray, off-white, and black. This iteration also includes a unique detail: a red layer that sits at the base of the black Swoosh, which gradually becomes more visible with wear, making for an evolving aesthetic. Like the “Cinnabar” pair, the “Deep Royal Blue” version features the “Nike Air” Wings logo, but this time, it’s placed on the lateral collar of the left shoe, offering a balanced look between both versions. Both sneakers will be available in women’s sizing when they release in April 2025. Fans can expect to find them on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers, making these new additions to the “Rare Air” series a must-have for collectors and sneaker enthusiasts alike. Keep an eye out for more updates, including official imagery, as the release date approaches.
