Set to release exclusively in Japan later this month.

If PLAY Comme des Garçons’ heart-covered Chucks defined the creative crowd of the 2010s, the new collaboration between Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and Converse Japan aimed to bring a fresh cultural statement for the next decade.

The project reimagined the Converse All Star LGCY HI with six co-branded colorways: Kelly Green, Chocolate Brown, Lavender, Royal Blue, Stone Gray, and Black. Each pair featured tonal canvas uppers, the classic Converse ankle patch on the medial side, and subtle MoMA embroidery at the lateral heel, all sitting atop an off-white and black sole and packaged in special co-branded boxes.

The MoMA x Converse Japan All Star LGCY HI collection first launched via MoMA Japan on March 20, followed by a wider release through Converse Japan on March 27.
