The iconic basketball silhouette was stripped back and refined through CDG Homme Plus’ signature minimalist aesthetic and premium detailing.

COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus and Jordan Brand came together to give the Air Jordan 11 a refined, minimalist makeover inspired by Rei Kawakubo’s distinctive design language. The iconic basketball silhouette was stripped back with a monochromatic approach and elevated through the use of premium materials.

Reworking Tinker Hatfield’s original design, the collaboration introduced a gloss-finished midsole that extended the signature shine of the shoe’s patent leather construction. Premium full-grain leather was used across the upper panels, with subtle debossed COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus and Air Jordan branding appearing on opposite sides.

The collaborative Air Jordan 11 arrived in both Black and White colorways, balancing the model’s recognizable basketball heritage with the structured, tailored aesthetic associated with CDG Homme Plus. The accompanying campaign further highlighted this contrast, pairing the sneakers with FW26 CDG Homme Plus tailoring against the architectural backdrop of the COMME des GARÇONS Aoyama flagship in Tokyo.

The COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus x Air Jordan 11 was released on September 5 through Dover Street Market and select COMME des GARÇONS stores, marking another understated yet distinctive reinterpretation of the iconic silhouette.
