Inspired by espadrilles and European cobblers.

Following the release of the “Halo Ivory” iteration, Edison Chen’s CLOT is maintaining its successful collaboration with adidas by unveiling the new Gazelle in “Blue Bird.” This sneaker draws inspiration from espadrilles and the craftsmanship of European cobblers. It features a khaki knitted fabric base complemented by nubuck leather overlays, with blue accents highlighting the beaded Three Stripes and exposed stitching along the midsole, tongue edges, and heel. The design includes subtle branding on the embroidered Gazelle insignia, avoiding traditional placements on the tongue and heel. A braided and stitched midsole adds to the shoe’s rustic aesthetic, while the gum rubber outsole provides additional traction. Tan and blue laces complete the look.

Since ending its long-standing partnership with Nike, CLOT has been rapidly advancing its collaboration with adidas, releasing updated versions of the Superstar and Samba earlier in 2024. The CLOT x adidas Gazelle “Blue Bird” will be available through an online raffle on August 12, followed by an in-store raffle on August 16, with a wider release set for August 23.
