There's speculation suggesting that the Air Jordan 5 is in the works, adopting the timeless all-black color scheme.
In the realm of colorways, Jordan Brand consistently presents a blend of both fresh and familiar styles each year. One enduring series gaining popularity is the all-black “Black Cat” design, originating on the Air Jordan 4 in 2006 and subsequently gracing models like the 6 and 13.
As per reports from insiders zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the “Black Cat” treatment is extending to the Air Jordan 5, as depicted in a mock-up created by these sources. Though specific coloring details are yet to be disclosed, the expectation is variations of black and dark gray throughout, with a likelihood of a nubuck upper, given its SE designation.
As of now, Jordan Brand hasn't revealed the release plan for the Air Jordan 5 in the speculated “Black Cat” colorway. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the shoe, with an anticipated arrival this holiday season through Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
