After a quick on-foot glimpse at a laceless pair of the Air Jordan 5 "Burgundy" surfaced, YankeeKicks has offered a thorough analysis of the shoe. It features a strong "Burgundy" across its pattern and comes with glittering silver laces. Release is currently anticipated for August 12 via Nike SNKRS and a few shops for a $225 USD price.

The year 2022 was extremely eventful for the Air Jordan 5, as it witnessed the comeback of cherished hues like the "Green Bean" and was made in collaboration with CLOT, PSG, and hip-hop mogul DJ Khaled. And now that they are behind us, the Jordan brand is already planning to bring the heat in 2023. The most recent announcement to reach our ears is a throwback release of the Air Jordan 5 "Burgundy" hue.

The modest sequel, which was first released in 2006 during the AJ 5's successful run, is about to hit the stores with all of its original design elements. Buttery suede upper panels are designed in a "Deep Burgundy" shade that is reminiscent of aged wine; "Flint Grey" shoe laces and reflective tongues contrast this. The typical see-through lace toggles will be used, and Jumpman insignia painted in the pair's name will be attached to the tongues. While the bottoms are finished with ice constructions, the midsoles' spiky moulds have more "Flint Grey" elements.
