Building on the HBCU’s player exclusive from 2022.

It has been just over two years since Jordan Brand partnered with Howard University, an HBCU located in Washington, D.C. Shortly after, the university received a special player exclusive of the Air Jordan 6 featuring the school’s crest on the heel. This was followed by a PE of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, designed with the university’s colors and a unique Howard Bison graphic on the sockliner.

Now, a “Howard University”-themed version of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG is set to be released, as revealed by Sneaker Politics. This new pair revisits the university’s color scheme, featuring an off-white leather upper with navy overlays at the forefoot and Swooshes, and red accents on the heel and mini Swoosh at the toe. While Nike has not yet announced the release details for the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Howard University,” Sneaker Politics has indicated that it will be available on October 12 for $140 USD. Stay tuned for official updates and imagery as they become available.
