Initially expected to launch in spring 2025, the "Dark Mocha" is now rumored to be releasing in December 2024.
A new collaboration between Travis Scott and Jordan Brand is on the horizon, featuring a fresh take on the classic Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP. The upcoming release, which bears the signature Cactus Jack branding, will debut in a "Velvet Brown" colorway. According to sneaker insider @zsneakerheadz, who provided a mock-up, the shoe will be dressed in a dark mocha, black, and velvet brown color scheme. The upper is primarily a rich dark mocha, with overlays in a deep velvet brown, while the iconic Swoosh is made from tumbled leather and sits atop a dark sole, adding to the premium look.
The “Velvet Brown” colorway is expected to hit shelves in spring 2025, priced at $150 USD, and will be available through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. This release is just one of several Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low drops coming soon. In addition to the “Velvet Brown,” a “Medium Olive” pair is slated to release in September, followed by the “Elkins” and “Black/Olive” colorways later in the fall.
Originally thought to be named the "Velvet Brown," the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Dark Mocha” has now been confirmed for an earlier release date. Thanks to an in-hand look from sneaker leaker @solesbyzay_backup, it has been revealed that this highly anticipated collaboration will now be arriving on December 21, 2024, in full family sizing. This shift in timing places the "Dark Mocha" as one of the major holiday releases for Jordan Brand, marking a key moment in the continued partnership between Travis Scott and Nike.
Stay tuned for more details as the release date approaches, and in the meantime, check out the first-look images of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Dark Mocha” as this drop is set to be one of the biggest of the year.
